Jaylene Clark Owens, a Harlem native in Greater Philadelphia, is an AUDELCO and Barrymore award-winning actress, spoken word poet, and author. Jaylene’s magnetic presence has graced the stage, film, and television. She plays Rosie in the hit WHYY PBS Kids show, “Albie’s Elevator,” and has appeared several times on “Law & Order.” She is a company member at The Wilma Theater, where she hosts an Open Mic series based on the themes of their staged productions. Jaylene’s poetry has received over 11 million streams across music platforms and social media, and has been shared by thousands, including notable celebrities and brands.
